Tapioca

Image
Tapioca 1 egg white 6 Tablespoons sugar, divided 3 Tablespoons Minute Tapioca 2 cups milk 1 egg yolk 1 teaspoon vanilla BEAT egg white in medium bowl and electric mixer on high speed until foamy.  Gradually add 3 tablespoons sugar, beating until soft peaks form. MIX tapioca, remaining 3 Tablespoons sugar, milk and egg yolk in medium saucepan.  Let stand 5 minutes. COOK on medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to full boil (a boil that doesn't stop bubbling when stirred). Remove from heat.  Quickly stir in egg white mixture until well blended.  Stir in vanilla. COOL 20 minutes; stir.  Serve warm or chilled.  Makes 6 servings. I found this recipe on the back of Kraft Minute Tapioca.  It is delicious!  Hope you enjoy!

Chicken Filling (For Cream Puffs)

Image
Chicken Filling  (For Cream Puffs) 2 can chicken (12.5 oz) 1 celery stalk chopped 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 1/2 cup Miracle Whip Mix and keep refrigerated until ready to eat.  Then place in cream puffs and Enjoy!!

Venison Steaks

Image
More venison! These steaks were washed and put in a hot skillet.  I added enough Teriyaki sauce to cover them, this will depend on how many steaks you have and the size of your skillet.  Then squirt about a tablespoon of honey on each steak.  These were little backstrap steaks, you would want more for a larger steak.  Cook until browned on the bottom and turn them.  Once they are turned keep splashing the sauce up on the steaks until they are done to keep they moist, you don't want them to dry out. Myrna's Bread

Image
Bread 8 cups steaming hot water                         Flour As Needed ~ After other ingredients are mixed 3 cups powdered milk 1 cup sugar 1 Tablespoon Salt 3/4 cup shortening Place these five ingredients in your mixer ~ 1 cup luke warm water Add 2 Tablespoons yeast in water and stir slightly, let it get frothy and bubbly. Then add to above mixture, (when mixture has cooled to luke warm).  Do not add it to the mixture before it has cooled or it will scald your yeast and the bread will not rise. Mix all ingredients together.  Then slowly add flour until the dough starts to pull away from the mixers bowl.  If you have a Bosch mixer, let the mixer mix the dough for 6 minutes.  If not, you are still able to make great bread.  Just mix it really good by hand. Then remove dough from the mixer and place in a air-tight bowl and let rise until double.  Punch the dough down and get all the air out, then le...
